The UN Global Compact Network South Africa in collaboration with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange invites you to the Ring the Bell for Gender Equality Event.

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, the JSE is excited to host the 10th annual Ring the Bell for Gender Equality market open under the theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. Working in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), the Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative, the UN Global Compact and UN Women, as well as the Motsepe Foundation, Rand Merchant Bank and Women in ETFs, this global initiative aims to foster gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Bringing together more than 100 exchanges and financial institutions from various corners of the world, this collective effort aims to shed light on the vital issues of gender equality and women’s empowerment within the realms of the workplace, marketplace, and community.
