This report communicates South Africa’s SDG story from the perspective of the private sector, which has in part, informed South Africa’s 2019 Voluntary National Review which was presented by government at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum in New York, July 2019.
The report delves deep into private sector perspectives, strategies, and existing best practice examples. It presents insights from six key sectors and identifies emerging trends of company prioritisation and implementation of the SDGs. We also highlight tools, methodologies and strategies produced by individual companies to guide internal implementation.
