(São Paulo, 16 May 2018) — Today, Global Compact Network Brazil held a Forum to celebrate its 15-year anniversary at the Modern Art Museum of São Paulo. The Forum brought together over 400 business leaders as well as high-level UN and Government representatives. Watched by more than 1,500 people on the livestream, panels at the Forum explored advances in corporate sustainability in Brazil and how Brazilian companies are contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Local and global speakers highlighted the role of both business and non-business organizations in topics related to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, such as the environment, women’s empowerment, human rights and practices against corruption.
